Theme ideas for a wedding, pearls and lace?

Has anyone ideas for the colour scheme for a pearls and lace theme wedding. One of the colours has to be ivory (ivory pearls and lace) but I am not sure what to combine it with. Ideas on other aspects to tie in the theme would be much appreciated, I am so stuck! I am wanting my wedding to be elegant yet modern. Thankyou so much if you can help!
The wedding will be in march (uk). Any ideas for flowers too. My partner will not have pink or anything resembling pink, I was thinking blue maybe?? with accents of.?

Well, they had a wedding featured on the TV show "Whose Wedding is it Anyway?" that incorporated the pearls & lace that had pale pink, hot pink, ivory, and peach. It was beautiful! But if the man won’t do pink, that won’t work!

The pale blue could work, but I would definitely choose a darker blue to accent it too. Otherwise, I am afraid it will look like a baby boy shower!

What about ivory, champagne, gold, & maybe orange or coral? Those are great together! And the orange is very modern and popular right now! Do mirror tiles on some of the tables, with strands of pearls everywhere, then place gold candle holders of different sizes and orange rose petals. For another look, do clear stanga (or eiffel tower) vases with a flower arranement on top with orange, ivory, and yellow flowers. Have the pearls hanging down from it. Sit it on a puddle of lace fabric.

Hope these ideas help!

My cousin had a themed wedding and she had lilys that were dyed a reddish black on every table and her and the bridesmaids but it was very traditional…my friend went for soft pink and white roses…orange is a good colour against pearls I ahd a nice soft orange and a pearl choker and bracelet on my debs..goes better on people who arent to dark or to light..good luck..

how about pink and black, that’s what i did for mine, my wedding dress was a very full , hoop skirt kinda with pearls sworn into dress, plus my shoes, were cheap little white tennis shoes, and my mom decorated them with pearls and sequins, my girls wore black party or cocktail dresses, guys wore black tux with pink shirts, plus there’s a lot lot of decorations in black and pink, it was very pretty, had lots of complements

With Ivory, I think I like a soft color like Lavender or a powder or cornflower blue

I’m considering using pearls and blue(any shade of blue would work no matter what time of year) with silver accents. All very elegant. Girlie with the pearls but blue is manly for my fiance.
