I am having a beach themed wedding and I would like to give my bridesmaids something along the lines of the theme. I thought about flip flops but they all have enough of them (believe me they do!). Any ideas? something unique?
I think traditionally the bride gives her bridesmaids jewelery, someone told me that recently, maybe some coral or cool shell necklaces.

I think you should make little gift bags for them with sea-shell and such necklaces, and ocean scented candles.

oh how about a neat cooler that has speakers for their ipod. they have them at target for about 40 bucks. the flip flops would be cute with some rhinestones on them, maybe with a wedge heel? but i know about having too many of them. or beach towels with their names embroidered on them. any ways congrats on the wedding.

Necklaces made out of shells. Artificial flower hair pieces, coconut bras and Hawaiian skirts. Little purses with Hawaiian flowers on them. Drink glasses with little umbrellas.

What about a beach towel, cute bag, and a cute parasol ?
Or you could get them the cute starfish necklace from Tiffany’s. My friend’s cousin did that when she got married in Hawaii.

I went to a wedding that had a beach theme and the bridesmaids got a beach bag with their name on it and inside the bags were a beach towel, some lotion and body wash, flip-flops (which I know you don’t want to do), and sunglasses. I don’t know if that helps, but that’s all I can think of.

Sun and salt air can wreak havoc on skin, so what about either put together a little gift basket of nice skin-car products, or treat everyone as a group to a facial before the wedding, or a gift cert. so they can do it on their own time.
Or, some other beach themed gift, sunglasses, an hour at the tanning both, or a spray on tan, a beach tote with towel, sunscreen, etc. Good luck!

how about some sort of seashell necklace, seashell jewelry box, a beachy picture frame, there is some sort of beach scented stuff at victorias secret, beach bag, beach towel, beach ball, beach chair, you could put together a "Beach Bum" gift basket with a bunch of little things in it…

Get a beachbag and fill it with beachy type stuff. Scented lotion or body spray (Bath and Body Works has coconut scents). A fun novel to read at the beach. A pretty beach towel. Seashell necklace. Shell shaped chocolates (these are easy to DIY). Just get creative with it.

Get a monogramed bag with each girls initials on it, http://www.orientaltrading.com , is a great site. In each bag put these items
*A beach towel in your colors (can find at any wal-mart or target)
*A bottle of tanning lotion
*A bottle of sunscreen
*Yes, a pair of flip flops (black is a great color)
*An ancklet or Necklace
* A good book. (Chaning Faces is awsome, a stor about 3 friends)
*A bottle of lotion
A perfect gift that will definatly get used! and they’ll love it!
